About us

Wildflower Woods began in 2022 with the wedding of Jesse and Sophia. The couple held the event at Sophia's childhood home, which is 23 acres of beautiful farmland and forest located in Fredericktown, Ohio. After seeing how gorgeous the wedding was, they decided to turn the property into a venue so that other couples could enjoy the magical setting. 

The Property

Wildflower Woods is 23 acres of rolling hills, whimsical woodlands, grassy meadows, and pastures dotted with sheep. The diverse landscape provides multiple areas in which you and your guests can celebrate!

The Woods

The pine woods are a gorgeous and unforgettable area to host reception tables or an enchanted ceremony. The woods consist of trees that are planted in rows, which make it easy to arrange our long wooden tables end to end.

The meadow

The meadow is a private grassy oasis for natural outdoor ceremonies. The dotting of trees provides intermittent shade for guests, while the arch remains shaded in the afternoon.

The Farm

​The farm is situated amidst rolling hills and pastures for our sheep. Historic barns provide potential photo opportunities with a rustic aesthetic.

The Courtyard

The courtyard is located just outside the tent and is the newest addition to the property. A stone fountain flows in the center surrounded by benches and pristine raised garden beds 

The Tent

The tent is 40ft wide x 80ft long with artificial turf floor to provide consistency and ease of terrain. There are many uses for the tent including catering, the bar, cocktail hour mingling, dancing, and a reception option if weather is unfavorable

The wildflower lane begins blooming in June and peaks from mid July through September. Frost will reduce blooms, but some flowers will continue into mid October.
